Elizabeth C. Dudek

Elizabeth C. Dudek, age 91, died Friday, June 28, 2013 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born September 28, 1921 in South Milwaukee, daughter of the late Archibald and Esther (Hittman) Fleckenstein. On April 27, 1950 she married Edwin Dudek in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death. Elizabeth enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, solving word search puzzles and putting together puzzles. She cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Louise Lentz, Wausau, John (Shirley) Dudek, Merrill, Judy (Wesley) Pauls, Wausau, James Dudek, Merrill, and Jane (Scott) Kraft, Marathon; grandchildren, Laura and Darrell Fleckenstein, James (Polly) Lentz, Thomas Lentz, April (Arlin) Zastrow, John (Karla) Dudek, Jason (Melanie) Pauls, Nathan (Melinda) Pauls, Victoria (Bryan) Notz, Natalie (Derek) Grover, Jamie (Mark) Griffin, and Travis Kraft; 21 great-grandchildren, many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, Edwin, she was preceded in death by a son, Farrell, a grandson, Farrell Jr., a son-in-law, James Lentz, four sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. The Rev. Weng Liew will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
