Eleanore A. Meverden 84, 2400 Marshall Street, Wausau died Tuesday, October 30, 2001 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. Eleanore was born March 29, 1917 in the town of Plover, daughter of the late Richard and Marie (Rademacher) Kunst. She married Reinhardt Meverden July 22, 1933 in Wausau. He preceded her in death December 5, 1973. Eleanore was a homemaker. Survivors include four daughters, Ella (Gene) Grosskreutz, West Allis, Shirley Reiter, Ault, Colorado, Jeanette (Gene) Pesavento and Susan (Jim) Sell, all of Wausau, three sons, Richard (Nancy) Meverden, Wausau, George (Cindy) Meverden, Birnamwood and David (Judy Holden) Meverden, Winter Haven, Florida, 19 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, one sister, Lucille Drachenberg, Santa Maria, California and one brother, Gene (Dorothy) Kunst, Mesa, Arizona. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2001 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. The Very Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in St. Philomena Cemetery, Birnamwood. Friends may call Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Eleanore's name may be directed to the Alzheimer's Foundation. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of the arrangements.
