Eleanor Emma "Mom" Krueger
94, 608 Adams Street, Wausau, died Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born February 27, 1910 in the village of Rib Falls, daughter of the late John and Emma (Gerst) Zacher.
She was educated at St. John's School in Edgar. On November 17, 1936, she married Clarence Krueger. He preceded her in death in 1973.
Eleanor lived in Wausau most of her life and worked at Marathon Rubber for 35 years, retiring at age 67. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church..
Survivors include four children, Lucy (David) Tiry, Ripon, John (Pat) Krueger, Wausau, Margaret "Cookie" Barber and her fiancAC. David Treichel, both of Stevens Point and Joseph Krueger, Wausau; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and many sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Emma.
The funeral mass will be celebrated 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2005 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. Friday until time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
