Eleanor Elaine Kannenberg

Eleanor Elaine Kannenberg, 74, Wausau, died Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born February 25, 1941 in Ringle, daughter of the late Kermit and Sophie (Koch) Marten. On May 21, 1960 she married Robert Kannenberg at St. Stephen Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death. Survivors include her children, Gail (John) Kannenberg-Narlock, Mike (LaVonne) Kannenberg, Terry (Stephanie) Kannenberg and Pamela Kannenberg; sisters, Audrey Narlock, Shirley Marten, Patty (Bob) Schroeder and Debbie Andersen; sisters-in-law, Jean Marten and Amanda Marten. She will be loved and missed by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Robert, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Ronald Marten and three brothers-in-law. Private family services will be held. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses at Aspirus Wausau Hospital ICU and Palliative care units for the compassionate care given to Eleanor.
