Eleanor R. Janikowski

Eleanor R. Janikowski 79, 1014 S. 10th Street, Wausau, died Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at her home. She was born March 19, 1924 in the town of Easton, daughter of the late Earl and Ellen (Kennedy) Barden. On August 25, 1945 she married John Janikowski at St. James Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1999. Eleanor retired in 1970 as the Manager of Deluxe Beauty Salon in Wausau where she had many customers and friends. Survivors include two sons, Gary Janikowski, Rothschild, Larry Janikowski, Harshaw; two grandchildren Jaime Janikowski, Conifer, Colo, Clayton Janikowski, Madison and one sister Blanche Stoltz, Wausau. Besides her parents and husband, Eleanor was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Ann; one grandson, Jason and two sisters, Marge Sattler and Alice Rozumalski. Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2003 at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Joseph Gyim-Austin will preside. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
