Elayne Sortino

Elayne Sortino 78, Wausau, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005 under the care of Comfort Care & Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Elayne was born February 22, 1927 in Iron Mountain, Mich. daughter of the late Elmer and Florence (Slaght) Peterson. She married Louis Sortino. He preceded her in death. Elayne was a homemaker. Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl (Pete) Hall, Prentice, Lois Jordan, Wausau and Lynn (Phil) Gilbreath Hesperia, Calif.; one son, Louise (Pat) Starnes, Nevada City, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; one brother, Wayne (Donna) Peterson, Kingsford, Mich.
