Elaine A. Gleason

Elaine A. Gleason 62, 112 Schmidt Avenue, Rothschild, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born November 8, 1942 in Hatley, daughter of the late Theodore and Eleanore (Gavin) Fierek. On February 17, 1962 she married Jerome Gleason at St. James Catholic Church, Wausau. He survives. Elaine was a homemaker. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Besides being outside as much as possible, Elaine enjoyed taking trips to the casino and playing Bingo. Survivors besides her husband Jerome "Jerry" Gleason, Rothschild, include her children, Cheryl (Randy) Pattee, Fargo, North Dakota, Christine Gleason, Mosinee, Mark Gleason, Wausau, one grandson, Johnny Williams, three sisters, Dolores (Elroy) Burgoyne, Wausau, Joanne (Tom) Bloomer, Kronenwetter, Leone (Pete) Peterson, Schofield, one brother, Gary Fierek, Hatley along with many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Elaine was preceded in death by two brothers Kenneth and Ted Fierek Jr. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2005 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. The Rev. Allan Slowiak will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
