Edwin S. Schara

Edwin S. Schara 75, Weston died Thursday, September 16, 2010 at his home. He was born June 14, 1935 in Halder, son of the late James and Mary (Baumann) Schara. Edwin worked at Northern Valley Workshop in Wausau for many years. Survivors include his siblings Hilda Holubetz, Downers Grove, Illinois, Mary Beidel, Spencer, Irene (Rodell) Manecke, Stratford and Charles (Inga) Schara, Oak Creek along with many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard and Aloysius. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 20, 2010 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Halder. The Rev. Barnabas Kyeah will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon is in charge of arrangements.
