Edwin A. Kuck
90, 510 S. 36th Ave., Wausau, formerly of Athens, died Saturday, May 6, 2006 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Wausau.
He was born September 18, 1915 in the town of Bern, son of the late Charles and Emma (Woellner) Kuck. On November 30, 1939 he married Olga Roesler at Trinity Lutheran Church, Athens. She survives.
Edwin ran a fox and mink farm in Athens until his retirement in 1981.
Survivors besides his wife Olga Kuck, Wausau include his two sons, Robert Kuck, Minneapolis and Roger (Beth) Kuck, Merrill, two step granddaughters, Kimberli (Troy) Rubenzer, Hudson and Brenda (Richie) Rubenzer, Bloomer, two brothers, William (Vivian) Kuck, Colorado and Arnold (Dorothy) Kuck, Indiana, one sister, Marion Oldenhoff, Athens and one sister-in-law Nila Kuck, Athens.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Alvin and Carl Kuck.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Athens. The Rev. Donn Radde will officiate. Burial will be in Athens Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund.
