Edwin R. Davidowski, Sr

Edwin R. Davidowski, Sr. 76, R5150 Clubhouse Road, Ringle, died Friday, January 7, 2005 under the care of Comfort Care & Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born June 24, 1928 in Bevent, son of the late Leo and Mary (Cychosz) Davidowski. On December 21, 1951, he married Leona Nievinski at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, Milwaukee. She survives. Edwin was employed at Mingle & Barcoat Blacktop Companies. Among his many talents, he was also a carpenter, plasterer and cement finisher. Edwin enjoyed hunting, fishing and auctions as well as family gatherings and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Besides his wife, Leona Davidowski, Ringle, survivors include his children, Donna (David) Pazio, Hatley, Debra (Karl) Blank, Illinois, Denise (Scott) Mattice, Wausau, Diane Faulks, Ringle, Darlene (Duane) Wroblewski and Edwin Jr. (Karla) Davidowski all of Ringle, Duane (Robin) Davidowski, Minnesota and Danelle (Jim Drury) Davidowski, Ringle; 12 grandchildren, David Pazio Jr., Tammy Pazio, Chad Blank, Dana Mattice, Justin (Katie) Mattice, Carol Faulks, Cathy Faulks, Christine Faulks, Logan Davidowski, Kasi Davidowski, Brad Davidowski and Samantha Bogan; 10 great grandchildren, Derrick Sprague, Dusty Sprague, Mirranda Sprague, Antonio Pazio, Damian Wampole, Devine Wampole, Dawson Wampole, DeAndra Faulks, McKenzie Faulks and Brandy Faulks; one sister, Margie Schmutzler, one brother, Richard (Emma) Davidowski; step father, Frank Senoraske & step brothers & sisters. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, David Davidowski; five sisters, Erna Zoromski, Agnes Davidowski, Ernesta Davidowski, Martha Davidowski and Dorta Davidowski; three brothers, Dennis, Leo & Gilbert Davidowski. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 10, 2005 at St. Florian Catholic Church, Hatley. Rev. Thomas Abraham will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
