Edward F. Witucki

Edward F. Witucki 70, 1439 N. 12th Avenue, Wausau, died Monday, July 31, 2006 at his home. He was born February 13, 1936 in the town of Reitbrock, son of the late Florian and Cecelia (Schreier) Witucki. On March 23, 1962 he married Betty Thanig at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. She survives. Ed enjoyed listening to Polka music and could always be found attending many local church picnics. Spending time looking at antique cars and antique farming equipment were some of Ed's favorite pastimes but he always found time to spend with his family, especially his grandchildren. Ed will always be remembered for his dry sense of humor. Survivors besides his wife Betty Witucki, Wausau include his children, Troy (Linda) Witucki, Edgar, Janine (Dave Kulpinski) Witucki, Rothschild, Lori (Patrick) Feck, Wausau and Shawn Witucki, Mosinee, three grandchildren, Anthony Witucki and Mitch and Brett Feck, two sisters, Sr. Mary Jo Witucki, Edgar and Kathleen (Daniel) Elmhorst, Edgar, two brothers, Jerome (Martha) Witucki, Wausau and Norman Witucki, Edgar, along with other relatives and friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Donna Witucki and one brother, Elmer Witucki. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 3, 2006 at St. Michael Catholic Church. The Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in the Mosinee Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
