Edward A. Pupp
85, 3406 Kildeer Lane, Wausau, died Thursday June 17, 2004 at home, surrounded by his family and under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services.
He was born April 6, 1919 in Abbottsford, son of the late William and Louisa (Kroening) Pupp. On October 28, 1942 he married Ethel Geiger at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester. She survives.
Prior to his retirement in 1984, Edward had been employed at Wausau Papers, Brokaw. Edward and Ethel were members of the Church of St. Anne since 1956.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Pupp, Wausau, four sons, Harold (Gail) Pupp, Larson, Wis., Dale (Lanette) Pupp, Flower Mound, Tex., Roger (Marilyn) Pupp, San Francisco, Cal., Glen (Darlene) Pupp, Wausau, three daughters, Carol Landrath, Stevens Point, Debra (Steve) Teske, Wausau, Connie (James) Behnke, Essex, Mass., 22 grandchildren, Donald, Brian, Darren, Tami, Aaron, Danette, Brenda, Rochelle, Brad, Lisa, Tony, Amy, Marcia, Keith, Jenny, Mandy, Tim, Doug, Dan, Emma, Natalie, Louisa and 21 great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday June 21, 2004 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Keith Apfelbeck will preside. Entombment will be in the Garden of Eternal Rest Mausoleum at Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Sunday from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday evening at the Stewart Avenue funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the McKillip Family Life Center or the Hospice House.
