Edward J. Pawlak, 77, 10295 Fond du Lac Avenue, Milwaukee, died Saturday, May 11, 2002 at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee.
Edward was born August 3, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late Stephen and Alma (Skerkie) Pawlak.
Edward was a Drafting Consultant and later became the customer service manager for Teledyne Company of Milwaukee. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Naples, Italy during WWII. He was a member and past Commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #2923.
He is survived by; four daughters and one son; Lorene (John) Rohloff, Weston, Sandra Pawlak, Niles, IL., Wayne (Caroline) Pawlak, Apache Jct., AZ, Carol (Bob) Wesson, Chicago, IL., Christine (Dave) Peterson, Oconomowoc; 11 grandchildren; two ex-wives, Emily (George)Kannard, Lake Mills & Marge Coronato, Niles, IL.; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Wally Pawlak.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m.,
Saturday, May 25, 2002 at Highland Community Church, Wausau. Pastor Rob Weise will officiate. There will be a memorial visitation from 12:30 p.m., Saturday, until the service time at the church.
The funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 16, 2002 at Krause Funeral Home, Milwaukee. Entombment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park Mausoleum following the funeral service.
Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau is in charge of the local arrangements.
