Edward J. Moses Sr

Edward "Ed" J. Moses Sr., 68, Wausau, died Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born May 18, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late Stanley and Rosella (Smith) Moses. On July 7, 1988, he married Denise LaPointe in Phoenix, Arizona. She survives. Following his marriage, Ed and Denise moved to the Wausau area in 1989 and Ed worked as a mechanic for local automobile dealerships. Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed fishing, grilling and was an avid sports fan. Some of his favorite teams were the New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, Boston Bruins and Chicago Blackhawks. Survivors include, his wife, Denise Moses, Wausau; two children, Nancy Moses and Edward Jr. (Nikki) Moses, both of Sturgeon Bay; three grandchildren, Jessie, Monica and Brianna; one brother, Robert Moses Sr., Crete, Illinois; four brothers-in-law, Jerry (Toni) LaPointe, Homer Glen, Illinois, James "Mike" (Sharon) LaPointe, Tomahawk, Thomas (Betsey) LaPointe, Weston and Christopher (Debra Linger) LaPointe, Clearwater, Florida; one sister-in-law, Ann (Bruce) Isakson, Wausau; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Ashton. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church, Wausau. Rev.
