Edward G. Mccarthy

Edward G. McCarthy, 78, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015 under the care of Theda Care Hospice at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. He was born October 29, 1937 in Stevens Point, son of the late Steven and Martha (Koss) McCarthy. Ed served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed his job as a truck driver and was a very mechanically inclined person. He also enjoyed bowling, reading, country music, and watching sports. Survivors include his children, Angela McCarthy, Kellie McCarthy, and Robert McCarthy; grandchildren, Marty Ottman, Samantha Ottman, and Nina Ottman. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert McCarthy and a sister, Dorothy Sherman. Private family services were held.
