Edna A. Skibba

Edna A. Skibba 75, Rib Mountain, died Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born November 21, 1930 in Junction City, daughter of the late Frederick and Martha (Neumann) Brown. On August 21, 1948, she married Raymond "Harry" Skibba in Stevens Point. He preceded her in death on August 12, 1998. She was employed at Wausau Insurance Company for over 30 years, where she retired in March of 1995. Edna was a volunteer at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Among her many interests, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, bowling, golfing, fishing, embroidery, reading and spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include, three daughters, Lori Skibba, Rib Mountain, Susan (Earl) Renshaw, Jacksonville, Fla. and Nancy Schoepke, Milwaukee; six grandchildren, Nicole (Jamie) Wendt, Henderson, Nev., Michael (Christina) Dux, Jacksonville, Fla., Denise (Nathan) Caton, Jacksonville, Fla., Aaron Schoepke, San Diego, Cal., Rebecca Dux, Jacksonville, Fla. and Nathan Renshaw, Jacksonville, Fla.; six great grandchildren, Hailey, Logan, Kaitlyn, Alexis, Danah and Sage; two sisters, Lorraine Yonke, Wausau and Dorothy Jahns, Rib Mountain; and two brothers, Kenneth (Clara) Brown, Wisconsin Rapids and Freddie (Gertie) Brown, Junction City. Besides her parents and husband, Harry, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and George Brown. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. Rev. Gary Schultz will officiate. Entombment will be in the Memorial Chapel Mausoleum in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau and again on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. The family extends their sincere appreciation to Dr. Miles, Dr. Lahren and Barb, Dr. Nike and the staff of the ICU Cardiac Unit at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
