Earl C. Molstad

September 2, 1949 — February 15, 2024

Earl Clifton Molstad, 74, of Rothschild, was taken home by God to heaven while he wintered in Destin, Florida, due to heart failure.

He was born on September 2, 1949 in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.  His life was full of love, laughter, dancing, and helping others whenever possible with his many talents.  Earl enjoyed fishing, darts, cards, pickleball, shuffleboard, golf, nature, yardwork, and woodworking.  He was a retired manufacturing engineer and plant manager for Fiskars and Joerns Manufacturing who made many friends along his life journey.  He was so loved and will be sadly missed.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Cathy (Rolnicki) Molstad; step-daughters, Ann (Ray) Hessil and Pam (Tim) Koch of Weston; daughters, Michelle (Jim) Bisek of Jordan, MN and Maureen (Steve) Halloran of Minneapolis, MN; daughter-in-law, Cassandra (Chris) Lang of Mosinee; son, Darwin; sister, Linda (Bert) Hester of Missouri; brother, Rodney (Barb) Molstad of Minnesota; grandchildren, Thomas and Emma Hessil, Carson, Connor, and Kiley Koch, Evan, Abby, and Corbett Bisek, Jaimie (Dustin) Durham, Aly Westerhaus, Zander Bloeden, and Krysta and Kaitlin Lang; and relatives and friends far and wide.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clebert and Betty Molstad; and son, Chad.

A celebration of Earl’s life and optimism will be held at a later date.  Burial will take place in Restlawn Memorial Park, town of Texas.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com.
