Wausau

Earl Kumbera, age 56, of Wausau, Wisconsin, passed away on October 15, 2026.

He was the deeply loved fiancé of Keri, with whom he shared a beautiful life, endless laughter, and a bright future. Their bond was built on unconditional love, deep friendship, and unwavering support for one another.

Earl was a man who brought genuine joy, fun, and enthusiasm to everything he did. He was happiest when he was out on the water fishing, casting a line, and enjoying the peace of nature. An avid football fan, Earl lived for game days, especially when it came to cheering on his beloved Green Bay Packers. Beyond the water and the football field, Earl loved nothing more than taking the mic and singing karaoke. Whether he was commanding the stage or encouraging others to join in, his love for music and his fun-loving spirit always brought people together and made every night unforgettable.

Above all, Earl loved his family tremendously. He was a proud and devoted father to his two daughters, Teala and Katie, and he cherished any and all memories of being a father to both of his girls. He also shared a remarkably strong bond with his soon-to-be stepdaughter, Taylor, of whom he was so incredibly proud of all her accomplishments.

He was a cherished brother to his brother, Mike, and his sister, Tina. He also held an immensely strong bond with his auntie Gail, who was a second mother to him throughout his life. His life was further brightened by his many nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly. His love also extended deeply to his grandchildren, Myla and Myles, who completely captivated his heart and brought him immense pride and joy, as well as his soon-to-be step grandson, Gray, whose time spent together he cherished deeply.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents and his brother.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
