Dr. T. Robin Ashwell

Dr. T. Robin Ashwell 39, Wausau, died Tuesday February 1, 2005. He was born January 16, 1966 in Smith Falls, Ontario, Canada, son of Thomas and Helen (Robinson) Ashwell, Jamestown, ND. On January 30, 1999 he married Suzie Zeleznak at St. John the Baptist Catholic Croatian Church, Kansas City, Kan. Dr. Ashwell served his residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, where he met his wife. After four years of study he was granted a Fellowship in Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery in Baltimore, Maryland. In 2001 the Ashwell family moved to Wausau and he began practice with OB/GYN Associates at Aspirus Clinic. The love of Robin's life were his wife, Suzie and his boys, Stephen and Christopher. His world revolved around them and his passing will leave a void that can never be filled. They could not have asked for a more devoted and loving husband and father. Robin possessed an incredible work ethic and will be remembered for his responsible, punctual nature. He enjoyed being active in the outdoors of Wisconsin, hiking and playing hockey. Survivors include his wife, Suzie Ashwell, Wausau, his children, Stephen and Christopher "Kipper" Ashwell, at home, parents, Tom and Helen Ashwell, North Dakota, his twin sister, Wendy Ashwell, Ariz., his other siblings, Tom Ashwell, Minn., and Jennifer Pendleton, North Carolina and Rebecca (Gary) Walker, Canada, his mother and father-in-law, Ivan and Kathy Zeleznak, Kansas, sisters-in-law, Kristie (Michael) Chambers and Angela Vlasic, all of Kansas; Baba Cena Calovic, Kansas; Keystone, his longtime pet, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Friday February 4, 2005 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Steven Brice will officiate.
