Dr. Forest "Doc" Dustan
87, Wausau and formerly of Eau Claire, died Sunday, December 14, 2003 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital.
He was born September 11, 1916 in Rothschild, son of the late Alfred and Florence (Callows) Dustan. On November 30, 1939, he married Eileen Lutz in Stevens Point. She survives.
Forest graduated from the Illinois College of Chiropody in 1939; he then started his podiatry practice in Eau Claire until retiring after 56 years. He enjoyed curling, golfing and bowling. Throughout Forest's career, he touched many lives and was respected by everyone he knew.
Besides his wife, Eileen Dustan, Wausau, he is survived by one daughter, Margaret (James) Manthei, Kenosha; three sons, Gerald Dustan, Wichita Falls, Texas; Ronald (Linda) Dustan, Wausau and Gregory (Cindy) Dustan, Kenosha; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Charlotte Klopotek and one brother, Harold Dustan.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
