Douglas C. Dahlberg

Douglas "Doug" C. Dahlberg 86, Wausau, died Friday, March 7, 2008 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born September 4, 1921 in Tomahawk, son of the late Jack and Emma (Welk) Dahlberg. On September 5, 1942 he married Dorothy Stelter in Rockford, Ill. She survives. Doug served his country in the United States Army Air Corps. during World War II and worked for many years at Marathon Electric as an industrial engineer. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, Wausau; two daughters, Kathleen Freigo, Rosco, Ill. and Patricia (Wally) Mattson, Rothschild; son, Douglas J. (Sandra) Dahlberg, Wood Dale, Ill.; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. The funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 13, 2008 at the Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Wausau. The Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Friends may call Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
