Dorothy H. Meseberg

Dorothy H. Meseberg 86, Edgar, died Saturday, January 26, 2008 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Colonial Manor Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Wausau. She was born November 13, 1921 in Wausau, daughter of the late Otto and Elisa (Isberner) Schultz. On May 2, 1942, she married Cyril R. Meseberg in Edgar. He preceded her in death on January 4, 2005. Dorothy was a homemaker and also worked for the former Pauly Cheese in Wausau for over ten years. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Edgar, and a member of the Catholic Order of Forester's and the P.C.C.W. Among her many interests, she enjoyed bird watching, playing cards, bowling, fishing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Survivors include, three children, Janice (Louis) Kwiatkowski, McFarland, James (Susanne) Meseberg, Wausau and Deborah Weber, Wisconsin Rapids; four grandchildren, Christopher (Jennifer) Weber, Wisconsin Rapids, Jason Kwiatkowski, Madison, Stacie (Paul) Dettwiler, Belleville and Nicole (Todd) Huebler, Belleville; and six great grandchildren, Kaleb, Chloe, Eli and Seth Dettwiler, Austin Matthewson and Mason Huebler. Besides her parents and husband, Cyril, she was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Kane; and one brother, Lawrence Schultz. The funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008 at St. John Catholic Church, Edgar. The Rev. Norman Boneck will preside. Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Edgar. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar is in charge of arrangements.
