Dorothy G. Lund

Dorothy G. Lund 89, died Thursday, January 18, 2007, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born December 31, 1917, in Winona, Minn., daughter of the late Herman and Anna (Slugeski) Hoge. She married Vernon B. Lund. He preceded her in death on August 20, 2003. Through the years, Dorothy collected stamps and different types of money. In her earlier years she owned and operated the Lakeview Flea Market in Ortonville, Minn. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her daughter, Victoria (Darrell) Jahnke, Edgar; son, William Lund, Ortonville, Minn.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon B. Lund and her son, Vernon B. Lund Jr. Out of respect to the wishes of Dorothy's family, there will be no funeral service.
