Dorothy I. Lewis-Weiler

Dorothy I. Lewis-Weiler 74, Wausau, died Saturday August 12, 2006 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital under the care of Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She was born June 3, 1932 in Schofield, daughter of the late Albert and Irene (Ermeling) Huffman. On January 22, 1949, she married Arthur Lewis in Schofield. He preceded her in death May 16, 1962. In 1966, she married Robert Weiler at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Athens. He preceded her in death August 13, 1986. Dorothy was a homemaker and provided home child care. She enjoyed cooking, baking and quilting. Survivors include 11 children, Charles Lewis, No. Dakota, James (Irene) Lewis, Knowlton, JoAnn (Dale) Ziebell, Wausau, Diane (Ken Weeks) Jackson, Wausau, Debbie (Christopher) Sconzert, Mosinee, Kathy (James) Wojciechowski, Texas, Bonnie (Rick) Quandt, Iowa, Rodney (Rolinda) Lewis, Green Bay, Kevin (Cindy) Lewis, Madison, Christine (John) Dalum, Stevens Point, Brian (Cathy) Weiler, Stevens Point. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a special friend, Joe Imhoff, Wausau. Besides her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a son Leonard Lewis, a daughter, Susan Marie Lewis, two sisters, Alberta and Phyllis and two brothers, Donald and Louis. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Weds. August 16, 2006 at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. Rev. Joseph Gyim-Austin will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Weds.
