Dorothy C. Krzanowski
87, Wausau, died Sunday, June 15, 2008 at Marywood Convalescent Center, Wausau.
She was born August 10, 1920 in Mosinee, daughter of the late John and Pauline (Sharkey) Tomczak. On August 31, 1940 she married Stanley Krzanowski Sr. He survives.
Dorothy worked as a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, watching baseball, traveling and dancing, especially polkas.
Survivors include her eleven children, Connie (Dennis) Johnson, Noblesville, Ind., Edward (Nancy) Krzanowski, Stan Krzanowski Jr., both of Mosinee, David Krzanowski, Las Vegas, Nev., Peter (Criss) Krzanowski, Eagle River, Alas., Timothy (Debra) Krzanowski, Mosinee, Darrell (Kathy) Krzanowski, Gleason, Janet (Richard) Schneider, Marathon, Nicholas (Christine) Krzanowski, Merrill, Dale (Darlene) Krzanowski, Edgar and Susette (Bruce) Gunseor, Wausau; twenty-five grandchildren, Juli, Todd, Guy, Wade, Michael, Melanie, T.J., Rhonda, Troy, Jeff, Christy, Shannon, Shane, Dawn, Keith, Derek, Jesse, Brian, Sarah, Marshall, Justin, Joshua, Megan, Michaela and Evan; 34 great grandchildren; brother, Robert (Marlene) Tomczak, Florida; sister, Leona (LeRoy) Pelot, Mosinee; son-in-law, Thomas Vetrovec, Harwood Heights, Ill.; brother-in-law, Theodore Hallas, Mosinee and many other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Vetrovec, two grandchildren, Robin and Noah, two sisters, Christina (Joseph) Andrys and Josephine Hallas.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2008 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild. Rev. Allan L. Slowiak will preside. Friends may call Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau and again Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
