Dorothy Kolbeck

Dorothy Kolbeck 91, formerly of 205 Short Street, Wausau, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at Mount View Care Center, Wausau. She was born October 1, 1912, daughter of the late Albert and Ida (Vanslow) Zielsdorf. On May 29, 1937, she married Richard Kolbeck at St. Mary Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on October 26, 1994. Dorothy was employed with Pied Piper Shoe Company for 38 years until it's closing. She enjoyed baking and playing cards. Survivors include her three girls, Sandra Wolf and Gale (Thomas) Narlock, all of Wausau and Darlen Steiner, Milwaukee; She helped raise two grandchildren, Richard (Sue) Wolf and Chris Wolf, all of Wausau; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2004 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Jay Kamrath will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. Saturday until the time of services at the Sixth Street Funeral Home.
