Dorothy Kasten

Dorothy Kasten, 89, Wausau, died Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born January 27, 1927 in Wausau, daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Metzdorf) Kasten. For many years, Dorothy worked for Employers Mutual Insurance Company in Wausau, until her retirement. Dorothy was very kind, strong willed and independent and loved to flower garden. Survivors include her cousin, Bernell (Richard) Nowack, Wausau; her best friend, Imogene Ritger, Wausau; and many other cousins and friends. Funeral services will be at Noon on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Dr. Philip C. Schneider will officiate.
