Dorothy A. Dahlberg

Dorothy A. Dahlberg, 92, Wausau, died Sunday, December 28, 2014 at North Central Health Care Facility, Wausau. She was born June 27, 1922 in Wisconsin, daughter of the late William and Josephine (Tafelski) Stelter. On September 5, 1942, she married Douglas Dahlberg in Rockford, Ill. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2008. Dorothy was a homemaker and enjoyed raising her family over the years. Survivors include, two children, Patricia (Walter) Mattson, Rothschild and Douglas (Sandra) Dahlberg, Wood Dale, Ill.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Douglas, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathleen Freigo; one sister, LaVerne Sherman; and one brother, Robert Stelter. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at The Church of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Wausau. Rev. David Bruener will preside. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
