Dorothianne Kilinski,
2501 N. 28th Avenue, Wausau, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at her home.
She was born in Waukegan, Ill., daughter of the late Major and Grace (Gordon) Rebella.
On October 18, 1958, she married Phillip Kilinski in Mellen, Wis. He survives.
Dee moved to Mellen, Wis. with her family, where she graduated from high school. She continued her education at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, earning her bachelor's degree in English and Speech. She taught high school in Merrill and Tomahawk.
She interned at Melody Top Theatre in Detroit, Mich., where she continued her studies in musical theatre. Among her many talents, she was a dancer and actor with most memorable roles being Sally Bowles in "Cabaret" and Miss Hannigan in "Annie". She was on the Board of Directors of Community Theatre and was also a chorus member. Among many things, she enjoyed working with children. Dee was past president of the Central Wisconsin Children's Theatre and directed the holiday productions and the first major production at the Grand Theatre, "Peter Pan". She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and the Gaudete Choir.
Among her many interests, she enjoyed reading, needlework, Packer games, spending time up north at their cottage in the Minoqua area and attending her grandchildren's sporting events and concerts.
But most of all, she loved her husband and family and was happiest organizing events and get togethers for family and friends.
Survivors include, her husband, Phillip; two sons, Mike (Sharon) Kilinski and Tom (Lori) Kilinski; one daughter, Michele (Mike) Seager; one daughter in law, Sandy Kilinski; six grandchildren, Korey Kilinski, Christopher, Matthew and Alexandra Seager; Andrew and Katie Kilinski; one sister, Pat (Robert) Southers; and nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Rev. Robert Thorn will officiate. The family will greet friends immediately following services at the Stewart Avenue Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
