Doris J. Baur

Doris Baur, 75, Wausau, died Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services. She was born June 27, 1934 in Wausau, daughter of the late Edwin and Clara (Greiner) Rehfeldt. On October 24, 1953, she married Lyle Baur at St. Anne Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on October 4, 1992. Survivors include, five children, Clifford (Marilyn) Baur, Wausau, Steven Baur, Colorado Springs, Colo., Diane Gotham, Eden Prairie, Minn., Dan Baur, Ringle and Keith Baur, Wausau; six grandchildren, Jason Baur, Jamie (Jake) Hoover, Matt and Sam Gotham, Ashley and Miranda Baur; three great grandchildren; five siblings, Gladys Gerace and Howard Rehfeldt, both of Mountain Home, Ark., Eleanor Wojicechowski, Rothschild, Lois Westberg, Wausau and Dorothy (Jim) Sutter, San Antonio, Tex.; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Lyle, she was preceded in death by one sister, Erna Smith. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau and again on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until time of services at the church.
