Doris J. Baumann

Doris "Peaches" J. Baumann, 84, Schofield, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Cedar Creek Manor, Mosinee. She was born February 12, 1930 in Wausau, daughter of the late Cleve and Helen (Buchberger) Lyon. On May 12, 1956, she married Ubald A. Bauman at St. James Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on November 11, 1991. Doris was a homemaker and enjoyed many activities, including knitting, crocheting, needle work and puzzles. She also like to read, especially the Reader's Digest. She was a member of the National Catholic Society of Foresters, a member of St. Mary's Parish Council of Catholic Women, and served on the Parish Council at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Survivors include, seven children, Patrick (Geraldine) Baumann, Camphill, Pa., Peter (Terri) Baumann, Mosinee, Paul (Bernie) Baumann, Schofield, Matthew (Trudde) Baumann, Fridley, Minn., Mark Baumann, Schofield, Julie (Steven) Schaefer, Edgar and Nancy (David) Schultz, Elgin, Ill.; 14 grandchildren, Cassandra, Andrew and Nikki Baumann, Brandon (fiancAC.e Calicia Koch) Schultz, Quenton (Tegan) Schultz, Preston Schultz, Erica Schaefer, Hannah, Hadleigh, Mary, Thea, Jesse, Caleb and Mara Baumann; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Ubald, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Alexandria Baumann; two sisters, Lorraine Waldinger and Ruth Peroutka; and three brothers, Lincoln, Melvin and James Lyon. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Weston. Rev. Greg Bohren will preside. Entombment will be in the Memorial Chapel Mausoleum, Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
