Dores V. Westfall

Dores V. Westfall 74, 215 Grand Ave., Merrill, died Thursday, December 12, 2002 at her home. She was born December 20, 1927 in Merrill, daughter of the late John and Hattie (Fishbach) Henneman. Dores worked for Hanson Glove, Merrill, Marathon Cheese Corporation and the Midway Motel, Wausau until the time of her retirement. She enjoyed playing the guitar, trout fishing and making crafts. Survivors include three daughters, Julie (Dean) Tousignant, Irma, Lori (Dave) Zielazowski and Marsha Puphal both of Merrill; two sons, Steve (Sherryl) Westfall, Gleason and Clark Westfall, Hamburg; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her twin sister, Delores (Elroy) Butt, Merrill. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Henneman and son-in-law, Jim Puphal. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Merrill. Rev. Joel Danner will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens and again from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services at the church. There will be a vigil at 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the Athens funeral home.
