Donna M. Zettler-Krall

Donna M. Zettler-Krall, 75, Wausau died Sunday, June 18, 2017 at North Central Health Care Center , Wausau where she had currently been staying for rehabilitation after a recent shoulder replacement surgery. She was born May 18, 1942 in Wausau, daughter of the late Floyd and Angeline (Bielen) Gierl. Donna married Duane Zettler in 1960. They later divorced. Duane passed away in 1997. She married Jerry Krall in Wausau in 1994. He survives. In her earlier years Donna was a homemaker. She also worked at Bette's Skogmo Store, Marathon Cheese Corporation, Phillips Plastics, Bank of Athens and lastly at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for more than 15 years. She enjoyed going up north, sitting around the camp fire, flower gardening, motorcycling with Jerry, sewing, making jewelry, doing crafts, and watching the Game Show Network, Dancing with The Stars and the Packers. Donna belonged to the Parkinson's Support Group, volunteered at the Marathon County Library and truly enjoyed spending time with her family and her special pets, Maggie and Sophie. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Krall, Wausau, her children, Brenda (Craig) Reich, Marathon, Kim (Kent) Olson, Wausau, Corrine (Sean Shidell) Koenig, Wausau, Scott (Gail) Zettler, Athens, 8 grandchildren, Ian Guralski, Ethan (Steph) Guralski, Leah (Paul Bielke) Guralski, Evan (Idalia Zimmerman) Olson, Aaron Olson, Tyler (Lauren Griley) Zettler, Pat Zettler, Jadon Zettler, two great grandsons, Brody Beilke and Harvey Guralski, one great granddaughter, Coral Zettler, her step children, Alison (Mike) Carter, Weston, Daniel (Jenni) Krall, Wausau, her step grandchildren, Alayna Nass, Michael Nass, Luke (Krista) Carter, Matthew Carter, Tyler Krall and Jonathon Krall, her step great granddaughter Veralynn Carter, her siblings, Bette (Albert) Kunze, Wausau, James (Del) Gierl, Minocqua, Marion (Peter) Schemenauer, Abbotsford and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Arlene Gierl and a son-in-law, Chris Koenig. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Burial take place on a future date in Calvary Cemetery, Athens. Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Stewart Avenue funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial may be directed to the Michael J.
