Donna Mae (Waldow) Iwen

Donna Iwen, 81, Wausau, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at her home, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

She was born July 31, 1943 in the town of Hamburg to Edwin and Lillian (Krueger) Waldow.

On May 15, 1965, she married Harvey Iwen Jr. at St. John Lutheran Church in Rib Falls.

Donna was a member of the Trailmates Snowmobile Club and enjoyed traveling and the annual Canadian fishing trips with her husband, Harvey.

She retired from Wausau Insurance Company after 37 years of service.

Survivors include her husband, Harvey; two sisters, Nancy (Dean) Thomsen and Gloria (Mark) Hall, both of Marathon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ivy Lee.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Wausau.  Rev. Eric Hauan will officiate.  Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
