Donna Mae Belanger

Donna Mae Ethel Belanger, 79, Athens, died Saturday November 22, 2014, at Golden Living Center Continental Manor, in Abbotsford. She was born September 30, 1935 in the town of Johnson, daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (McKee) Beran. On July 9, 1955, she married Lyle Belanger in Milan. Donna Mae was a homemaker and operated a dairy farm with her husband in the Town of Johnson for many years until retirement. She was a member of the Trinity Ladies Aid and for many years was a member of the Johnson Homemakers Club. She was a loving wife and mother and cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. Survivors include her husband, Lyle Belanger; four children, Glenn (Carrie) Belanger, Athens, Gary (Maureen) Belanger, Athens, Brian Belanger, Conyers, Georgia, Amy (Sean) Lehman, Whitefish Bay; grandchildren, Daniel Belanger, Katie (fiancAC., Chris Culvey) Belanger; Sarah (Clayton) Venzke, Mindy (Bill) Davis, Becca (Brian) Simpson; Scott, Luke & Jenna Belanger; Lexi & Patricia Lehman; four great-grandchildren, Sydney Venzke, Callie Davis, Owen & Zooey Simpson; two brothers, Frank (Caroline) Beran, Athens, Rodney (Marge) Beran, Warrenton, Virginia; a brother-in-law, Henry Schneveis, Athens. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, June Schneveis. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday November 25, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Athens. Rev. Gary G. Paul will officiate. Burial will be in Athens Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
