Donald J. Sigmund

Donald J. Sigmund 57, 3815 Redwood St., Fenwood, died Thursday, March 7, 2002 at St Joseph Hospital, Marshfield He was born October 28, 1944 in Wausau, son of the late Ervin and Anna Marie (Berna) Sigmund. On May 9, 1970, he married Karen Mueller at St. John American Lutheran Church, Town of Wien. She survives. Donald was a janitor for K-Tech Kleening Systems working at Greenheck Fan Corporation, Schofield until 1996. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, taking care of his lawn, helping on his father-in-law's farm, stock car racing and spending time with his dog "Punky". Survivors include his wife, Karen Sigmund, Fenwood; 1 sister, Barbara (Gary) Loeffler, Holmen, 1 nephew, Cary (Dawn) Loeffler, Omaha, Neb. & their children, Joshua & Jacob; 1 niece, Jennifer Loeffler, Omaha, Neb; many uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2001 at St. John American Lutheran Church, Town of Wien. Rev. Jeff Tarras will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar and again from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may sent to the Kidney Foundation.
