Donald E. Lingford

Donald E. Lingford 85, Wausau died Friday, May 14, 2010 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. For more than 35 years Don was a supervisor at Consolidated Papers in Wisconsin Rapids. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II from June 1944 until February 1947. Survivors include his wife Phyllis (Sherman) Lingford, Wausau, his children, Linda (Gary) Evans, Spencer, Kathleen Hagen, Rhinelander and John Lingford, Wausau, four grandchildren, one great granddaughter, his siblings, Robert, David, Luella, Carole, Judy and Margaret. Don is further survived by many nieces and nephews. At Don's wishes there will be no services. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau is in charge of arrangements.
