Donald K. Haydam, 73, Mountain Home, Arkansas, died Friday, June 19, 2015 in Arkansas.
He was born January 15, 1942 in Fox Lake, Illinois, son of the late Karl and Lillian (Vogl) Haydam.
Donald served as a sergeant in the Army National Guard. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Union No. 150. He also owned and operated Haydam Solon Mills Restaurant.
Survivors include his siblings, Karla Haydam, Dallas, Pennsylvania, Joan (Gene) Evans, Poplar Grove, Illinois, Marge Krambeer, Grayslake, Illinois, Anita Vanderwiel, Wonder Lake, Illinois, Art (Sandy) Haydam, Katy, Texas, Leon (Celine) Haydam, Hillsboro, Wisconsin and Marilyn Haydam, Johnsburg, Illinois; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerome and Ralph Haydam.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Athens. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Athens. Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Athens is in charge of arrangements.
