Donald A. Dupey

Donald A. "Don" Dupey, 62, Wausau, died Sunday November 24, 2011 at his home under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice. He was born March 11, 1951, in Chippewa Falls, son of the late John "Jack" and Olga (Telsczak) Dupey. On July 19, 1975, he married Sharon Kay Bergerson at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Cadott. She survives. Prior to his retirement in May of 2013, Don had been employed with Greenheck Fan Corp. as traffic coordinator. Among his favorite things to do were fishing, woodworking, yard work and an occasional trip to the casino. He enjoyed golfing on the Greenheck Golf League and also enjoyed snowmobiling, having been a longtime member of the KK Riders Snowmobile Club. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Dupey, Wausau, a sister, Carol (Larry Daken) Stage, Altoona, a nephew, Michael (Gail) Stage, Eau Claire, a niece, Susan (Kevin) Garman, Sauk City, further relatives and friends. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 30, 2013 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. Robert Thorn will preside. Burial will be in St. Rose Catholic Cemetery, Cadott. Friends may call on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. There will be a parish vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Stewart Avenue funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
