Dolores M. Stemm

Dolores M. Stemm 94, Wausau, died Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at North Central Health Care, Wausau. She was born December 17, 1914 in Ewen, Mich., daughter of the late Simon and Irene Anderson. On July 30, 1938, she married Edward J. Stemm II in Maywood, Ill. He preceded her in death. For many years, Dolores and her husband owned and operated a tavern in Rib Falls. Survivors include, three children, Geri (Jim) Albright, Schofield, Edward (Jean) Stemm, Joliet, Ill. and Sue (Jim) Kopka, Clarendon Hills, Ill.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; one sister, Florence Eldredge, Ewen, Mich,; and one sister-in-law, Hazel Anderson, Wakefield, Mich. Besides her parents and husband, Edward, she was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Stemm; one brother, Lawrence Anderson; and one sister, Isabelle Cook. Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau.
