Dolores Krueger, 84, formerly of Wausau, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at her home in Freedom, WI.
She was born June 1, 1929 in Edgar, daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Litwin) Jagodzinski. On August 10, 1955, she married Melvin Krueger at St. John Catholic Church in Wuertzburg. He survives.
Dolores worked at First American National Bank and later worked at Wausau Insurance Company. Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed sewing, puzzles, canning and traveling. She went on several trips with family, including Alaska, Hawaii, Las Vegas, New York, Virginia, Georgia, Florida and North Carolina.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Melvin Krueger; twin daughters, Gail (Neil) Carriveau, De Pere and Sharon Krueger, Charlottesville, VA; three sisters, Irene Cichon, Dorothy (Bill) Artus and Lee Braun; one brother, Andy (Roseanne) Jagodzinski; two brothers-in-law, Benny (Doris) Krueger and Raymond Krueger; three sisters-in-law, Alice Krueger, Dorothy Wiesman and Viola (Al) Brunnow; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Stencil.
The memorial mass will be celebrated at Noon on Monday, March 10, 2014 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. Robert Thorn will preside. Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the church.
