Dolores M. Kiger

Dolores M. Kiger 97, Wausau, died Monday December 19, 2005 at Wausau Manor Nursing Home. She was born May 20, 1908 in Ashland, daughter of the late Daniel and Christina (Sharding) Murphy. On November 6, 1929 she married Enice Kiger in Park Falls. He preceded her in death February 14, 1991. Dolores was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Catholic Woman's Club, the Parish Council of Catholic Women, the Rosary Confraternity and Circle #3. Survivors include two sons, Dr. Daniel (Pat) Kiger, Wausau, Bruce (Kathleen) Kiger, New London, two daughters, Barbara (John) Barnett, Dell Rapids, So. Dakota, Catherine (Tom) Mortenson, Rothschild, nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Dolores was preceded in death by three sisters, one brother and one niece. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Friday December 23, 2005 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wausau. Rev. William Grevatch will preside. Entombment will be Holy Angels Mausoleum, St. Michael Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at the church.
