Dolores D. Dobeck

Dolores D. Dobeck, 88, Wausau died Sunday, August 14, 2016 under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Cedar Creek Manor, Kronenwetter. She was born May 29, 1928 in Stevens Point, daughter of the late Felix and Helen (Rzendkowski) Bluma. On March 1, 1949 she married Warren Dobeck in Stevens Point. He preceded her in death on October 29, 2006. Dolores was a homemaker and also helped her husband Warren as an office manager with the family business, Quality Machine Sales. Some of her favorite pastimes included Polka dancing, knitting, crocheting and playing cards. Survivors include five children, Barbara (John) Vojtech, St. Paul, Minn., Jane (Bob) Meadows, Phoenix, Ariz., Betty (Dan) Rogalla, Wausau, Mary (Steve) Wolf, Phoenix, Ariz., Dennis (Cheryl) Dobeck, Marshfield, ten grandchildren, John (Christy) Vojtech, Nathan (Lisa) Vojtech, Justin (Jen) Vojtech, Keri Rogalla, Jamie (JT) Lyons, Chelsea (Will) Mallmann, Sam Wolf, Bradley (Abbie), Emily and JoHanna Dobeck, seven great grandchildren, JR, Addie, Colton, Wyatt, Ben and Ava Vojtech and Rylan Dobeck and one sister, Lillian Zaborowski, Stevens Point. Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one son, David and her siblings, Chester Bluma and Lorriane Frank. A Memorial Mass will be held at Noon, Friday, August 19, 2016 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau. The Rev. Robert Thorn will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Dolores name.
