Diane L. Neumann 59, Merrill died Friday January 6, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Merrill. She was born September 16, 1952 in Wausau, daughter of the late Beatrice (Osborne) and (Robert) Pyykonen. On March 20, 1971 she married Alan Neumann at Trinity Lutheran Church, Wausau. He survives. Diane graduated from Wausau East High School in 1969. For more than 12 years she was a custodian at John Muir Middle School in Wausau. She loved spending time with her granddaughter, Macy. Some of her favorite pastimes included spending time with her two cats, camping, traveling and feeding the wildlife behind the house. Survivors include her husband, Alan Neumann, Merrill, her two daughters, Renee (Ray John) Weaver, Wausau and Christine (John) Jankiewicz, Tomahawk, one granddaughter, Macy Jankiewicz, her siblings, Barbara Dallman, Weston, Wayne (Cheryl) Lippert, Wausau and Gilbert (Elsa) Lippert, Mosinee. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday January 11, 2012 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.
