Diane J. Guin

Diane J. Guin, 63, Wausau, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born October 12, 1952 in Wausau, the daughter of Gerald and Joan (Dhein) Hornung. Among her favorite pastimes, Diane enjoyed flower gardening, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her two grandsons. Survivors include, one daughter, Tammi (Mike) Perkins, Germantown; two grandsons, Anthony and Hunter; her mother, Joan Hornung, Wausau; four siblings, Jim Hornung, Rhinelander, Jean (Bill) Lau, Holmen, Wis., Tom (Kim) Hornung, Weston and Patty (Glenn) Norton, Wausau; nine nieces and nephews, Laura (Joe) Marinelli, Melissa (Mike) Hintz, Sarah (Jake) Melby, Jennifer (Chris) Hoeppner, Bill (Melissa) Lau, Matthew Hornung, Stephanie Hornung, Danny Norton and Emily Norton; and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald. Private family services will be held at The Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Wausau. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff in the Palliative Care Unit at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for the outstanding care and support for Diane and her family.
