Derrick James Salzwedel

Derrick J. Salzwedel 25, Wausau, died Friday, April 25, 2003 at Community Health Care Wausau Hospital. Derrick was born May 27, 1977 in Wausau. Son of Debra Landowski. She survives. Derrick held various jobs in the Wausau area. Besides his mother, Debra, Wausau, survivors include one daughter, Tashia Lynn Salzwedel, Wausau; three sisters, Sandra (Randy) Hurst, Pennsylvania, Jessica Foster, Ponchatoula, Louisiana and Kristin Landowski, Wausau; two brothers, Ashley (Julie) Salzwedel, Schofield and Daniel (Heather) Landowski, Wausau; maternal grandmother, Lila Salzwedel, Wausau; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephew. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.. Thursday, May 1, 2003 at the Church of St. Anne, Wausau. Rev. Steven Brice will preside. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th St., Wausau and again from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of services at the church. There will be a 7:30 p.m. parish vigil on Wednesday evening at the 6th St. funeral home. In lieu of flowers a memorial in Derrick name is being established.
