Dennis F. Mroczenski

Dennis F. Mroczenski 69, town of Rib Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 26, 2004 at his home. He was born December 26, 1934 in the town of Rietbrock, son of the late Walter and Mary (Socha) Mroczenski. On October 12, 1957, he married Patricia Myszka at Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. She survives. Dennis was a veteran of the US Army. Dennis, along with his wife, operated a dairy farm in the town of Rib Falls until the time of their retirement. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards. Most special to him was spending time with his family and friends. Besides his wife, Patricia of 46 years, survivors include seven children, Roger (Debbie) Mroczenski, Waukesha, Tamara (Duane, Jr.) Welker, Blair, Cindy (Keith) Kunkel, Sussex, Kristine (Richard) Cotts, Waukesha, Carrie (Roy) Schug, Athens, Larry (Tami) Mroczenski, Marathon and Scott (Camille) Mroczenski, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; 14 grandchildren, Paul, Becky, Lisa, Holly, Andy, Matthew, Brandon, Courtney, Anthony, Brent, Sierra, Katlynn, Jake and Alexa; two great granddaughters, Alyssa and Rain; three sisters, Clara (Ed) Wirkus, Edgar, Adeline Houf, Wausau and Theresa (Donald) Torner, Milwaukee; two brothers, Florian Mroczenski, Adams and Edward (Jackie) Mroczenski, Athens. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Lucy Matysik, Leona Mroczenski and Mary Ann Westphal. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 2004 at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Poniatowski. Rev. Charles Hiebl will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Edgar and again from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of services at the church. There will be a 7:00 p.m. prayer service Wednesday evening at the Edgar funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name.
