Dennis L. Kaminski

Dennis L. Kaminski, 81, Wausau passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2025 while under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Wood Aven, Wausau.

He was born April 17, 1943 in Wausau, son of the late Wallace and Genevieve (Koback) Kaminski.  On May 21, 1977 he married Dorothy Kennicker in Wausau.  She survives.

For many years Dennis worked at Marathon Box in Wausau.  Some of his favorite pastimes included fishing, attending church picnics and family gatherings.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Kaminski, Wausau, one stepdaughter, Shirley Chaignot, Rothschild, three step grandchildren, Jamie, Kevin and Brian Chaignot, three brothers, Gene, David and Donnie Kaminski and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two steps sons, Gary and Robert Block.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2025 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 6th  Street, Wausau.  Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at the Sixth Street funeral home.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com
