Denise Faye Bricko, 63, Kaukauna, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2023 at her home. Sadly, she suffered from heart issues for many years.
Denise was born May 11, 1960 in Wausau, daughter of the late Duane and Ercelle (Zoromski) Bricko. She attended St. Michael Catholic grade school and then graduated from D.C. Everest High School in 1978. Following high school, she attended the Northcentral Technical College for two years.
Denise worked for 20 plus years for various paper companies in the Fox Valley and later she was in customer service for several telecommunications companies online. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and political discussions. But what relaxed and inspired her was her jewelry, and her stones and gems. She researched and picked out stones with healing qualities to incorporate into her creations and would give them as gifts-telling how they’d ease pain or brighten one’s outlook.
Her nieces and nephews were her joys! And those great nieces and great nephews always had her excited with the new things they were learning.
She is survived by her siblings, Pamela (Mark) Dexter, Schofield, Rod Bricko, Ringle, Mary Bricko Mulder, (Dave Nowak), Wausau and Paul (Julie) Bricko, Weston and Pattie (Tietz) Bricko, Ringle, Duane’s second wife. She is further survived by her nieces and nephews, Tony (Jen) Dexter, Madison, Sara (Brent) Cooper, Minnesota, Karyn (Chris) Iskra, Michigan, Anna (Shawn) Osterbrink, Schofield, Neal (Chelsea) Folta, Minnesota, Matt Bricko, Hatley and Nick Bricko, Hatley, her great nieces and nephews, Wyatt Cooper, Teagan Iskra and Quinn Iskra, Tyler Frodl, Carson Osterbrink, Harper Folta and Jayden Rector.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a special niece and god daughter, Michelle Folta, her Zoromski aunts and uncles, Rita and Richard Delap, Patricia Zoromski, James Zoromski and Robert Zoromski and too many Bricko aunts and uncles are also missed.
A private family burial was held at St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery, Weston where Denise was buried alongside her loving parents. Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Wausau is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com
