Delphine "Del" Gabrielski

Delphine “Del” Gabrielski, 94, Wausau, died Saturday May 9, 2020 at the Hospice House, Wausau.

She was born October 23, 1925, in Bevent, daughter of the late Julius and Frances (Trzebiatowski) Lewandowski.  On June 19, 1948 she married Ervin Gabrielski at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent.  He preceded her in death January 15, 1981.

For many years, Del was an active member of St. Anne Parish volunteering in many activities, including, Polka Fest Dinners, Friday Fish Fry and funeral dinners.

Survivors include her son, John Gabrielski, Mosinee, daughter, Mary (Peter) Chaston, Kearney, MO; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Lt. Col. USAF Retired, Andrew (Jessica) Gabrielski, Owings, MD, and their sons, Grant and Greyson Gabrielski,  Julie Gabrielski, Brooklyn, NY, and her sons, Henry and Thomas Buonamia, Gayle Gabrielski, Richfield, MN, Valerie Marsh, Kansas City, MO and her family, Sophia, Jonathan and Emily Marsh.

Besides her parents and husband, Del was preceded in death by a grandson-in-law, Andrew Marsh,  three brothers, Edmund, Henry and Florian Lewandowski and seven sisters, Theresa Dombeck, Anna Lewandowski, Irene Nevinski, Mayme Rozmenoski, Pauline Rolnicki, Esther Soczka and Virginia Kristof.  Del was the last in her immediate family to pass away.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday June 25, 2020 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Wausau.  Rev. Tom Lindner will preside.  Private interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Wausau.  Visitation will be on Thursday June 25, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.  Social distancing recommendations will be observed. There will be a live stream of the Funeral Mass on the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home Facebook page at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
